Boarding, Daycare, and Grooming Policies

Vaccinations and Health: All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations including, but not limited to, rabies (1-3 years), DHLPP (annually), and bordatella. Documentation from your veterinarian must be provided to validate their vaccination status. Dogs must also be free of fleas. If your dog is found to have diarrhea or be ill, your dog will be removed from the rest of the dogs to reduce the risk of spreading illness and you will be asked to come and pick him up. Any dog that has been ill with a communicable disease within the last 30 days must have a veterinarian's letter stating that he is in good health.

Behavior and Temperament: It is required that dogs be non-aggressive and non-territorial regarding toys and food with people. Owners will be asked to certify that their dog is non-aggressive and does not have a history of aggressive behavior. All new dogs will be required to complete an interview with a staff member to assess their temperment.

Food: All food must be brought in a resealable bag(s) or bucket and include a measuring device and feeding instructions. Wet or canned dog food is not allowed unless it is prescribed by a veterinarian (please bring documentation to verify this). Be sure to pack enough food for the entire stay. All the running and playing can make dogs hungry; large dogs will get a snack at lunch, so please include extra to account for this. If a dog runs out of food during his boarding stay, an additional fee will be assessed.

Grooming Appointments: Please show up on time for your grooming appointment. Late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated. Early drop-off is available by appointment only.

Drop Off/Pick Up: Dogs may be dropped off or picked up during normal business hours (Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 6PM, Saturday and Sunday 4PM-5PM). Dogs being boarded must be picked up by noon on their last day, otherwise the daycare rate of $28/day will be assessed. If after hours pick up or drop off is necessary, you must contact a staff member to determine if arrangements can be made. Only people who are authorized to do so may pick up or drop off a dog. Late pick ups may result in additional fees and failure to pick up will result in legal action in accordance with Texas State Penal Code 542.092.

Visits: Once you drop off your pet, we ask that you do not visit during his stay. Visits confuse and disrupt the pack dynamic. We update our Facebook daily with photos and videos. Please be sure to check there if you want to see photos and videos of your pet.

Medical Emergencies: We take every precaution during boarding and grooming to ensure the healthy and safety of your pet. However, we cannot control all circumstances, especially illnesses. If we find your dog is seriously ill or injured, we will seek medical attention from a qualified veterinarian. You as the dog's owner will be responsible all all incurred medical costs.

Medication: Medication may be administered by staff provided the owner supplies the medication and dosage information. An updated Boarding Information form will need to be signed indicating medication times, amounts, and frequencies.

Bed: We encourage you to bring your pets blanket or towel from home for over night stays. In our experience, they are more comfortable when they can sleep on their own blanket. Please make sure it has been washed before bringing.

Forms: All dogs being boarded must have a completed and signed Dog Boarding and Daycare Agreement, a Boarding Information form, and a Dog Profile on file. Dogs being groomed must also have a Service Authorization on file. Please visit the Forms page to download and view each form.

Payment: Payment is expected when you pick up your dog. An estimate of charges will be provided to you when you drop off your dog and prior to any grooming services. Boarding pick-ups scheduled over the weekend will have to be pre-paid. Payment may be made via cash, credit card, or check.

48 hours notice is requested if you need to cancel for any reason. Cancellation fees are not charged, but excessive cancellations within the 48 hour window or repeated no-shows may have their boarding or daycare privelages revoked.
